ArsonSmith is another hardcore band from Manila, Philippines. Clark Kent Fly was their former song plus It’s a Pleasure doing Business With You and My Mohawk Comes Out at Night is included in our Vol. 1 compilation. We are keeping in touch with ArsonSmith for their future record release though.

Is there any significance behind the name ArsonSmith?
Gio: "Secret. Ask us personally."
How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard you?
Gio: "ArsonSmith is a mirror right before you. You will only see your actions, not what goes on in your mind. So, if you try to read us up, will need that mirror in front of you, lights off, light up a small candle and see your way through with your mind."
What does your lyrics supposed to suggest?
Gio: "Socially intrapersonal."
What bands were you listening that influenced your sound as a band?
Gio: "The bands listed as our top friends on MySpace."
Which tracks will you point out as your favorite ones and why?
Gio: "It is not on record yet and is still in the works. It's called "Ultraviolent". It is our take on violence, its origin and what it holds for us if we dont do anything about it. We also like, "ArsonSmith must be destroyed", its practically our anthem, the why-we-exist mantra so to speak."
What is the usual way in which you compose songs or write lyrics? Is it a team work?
Gio: "We are not a team. We are brothers, in heart and soul."
If there is something you’d like to change in the world, what would it possibly be?
Gio: "Change something in the world? Nah, we'll leave it to the revolutionists. We are just adjectives. We'll picture it in different perspectives. There will be subtle suggestions just like any artist, but we are past that and it is up to who listens. Really listens."
Any last words?
Gio: "Last words? Are we getting nailed to the cross?!?
