KillRatio consists of okkampo (guitars), dane (guitar), nanie (drums), Z (vocals) and Mario (bass). They are Punk/HC band from Metro Manila. We have chosen the band to be part of the 1st volume of our compilation Royal Rumble.
Zepol, one of the members was also kind enough to share with us KillRatio music and answered few questions with regards to the group. He and his friends organized one of the 2nd leg of Magnicide tour that is going to be held in Saltwater Bar and Grill, Calamba Laguna this February 8, 2008.
how you chose the band's name?
The name is the product of post-rehearsal mental masturbation in the group's first few weeks. Nothing really special or profound behind it.
If you want to describe the band with just a few words to someone who has never heard about it, what would you say?
Hardcore-punk with hints of melody and a lethal dose of aggression; like a soundtrack to the world's imminent destruction.
If given the possibility to change something in the world what would it be?
Man's fanatical view on religion and governments.
Any last words?
See through the collective musical labeling and support our local DIY hardcore-punk scene in every possible way. Lastly, have the environment in mind with each action you make.
